Yes, you need to be present during the inspection. Someone who is 18 or older must grant access and be present, otherwise you could be fined.
4. What happens if my home is out of compliance?
If your home is found to be out of compliance, and the issue in question is a resident responsibility, you could be fined. Invitation Homes will cover all fines issued for violations for which we are responsible.
5. How long does an inspection generally take?
An inspection generally takes 30 minutes to complete.
